Here at Highland Ave. we have been a Farm Stand for just about as long as any of us can remember. We have always sourced from our greenhouses and fields as well as other local farmers around Southern Maine. We are growing more varieties of veggies every year. Some of our favorites include: heirloom tomatoes, corn, pickling cucumbers and zucchini. Come check out the garden anytime, too! We’d be happy to show you what we have growing, or help with what you have growing.
Looking for more than just vegetables? No problem. We carry *very* local eggs, honey, maple syrup and jams as well as a variety of cheeses, crackers and more to help you avoid that trip to the "big" store. We have a great wine selection, too. With over 150 varietals from around the world, our collection is balanced from the sweetest white to fullest red.

To tempt your taste buds a little more, check out our bakery! We have fresh baked breads and pastries every day of the week. Be sure to check out monthly pastry specials like Carrot Cake Whoopie Pies in April or Apple Strudel in September. Our bakery has expanded into delicious Homemade Soups & Sandwiches, too! Our selection changes daily so feel free to give us a quick call or check out our menu.
*Most* of our produce is from Maine right now - lots from right here in Scarborough - and it is delicious!
Feast on Maxwell's corn - picked fresh every day! And wild Maine blueberries, rainbow carrots, tomatoes, green beans (also Maxwell's) new red potatoes and russets, pickling cukes, zukes and more!
We have gorgeous strawberries from Quebec!
The shelves feature local honey from the Honey Exchange, jams from Kountry Kettle, delicious Jarva Cakes (these are mini cakes you make in the microwave and they are incredible!), Pasta Art from Raven's Nest Farm, Maine Sea Salt and local tea.
In our freezer you'll find Smiling Hill ice cream, Gelato Fiasco, and Martel's ice cream sandwiches.
We added Nitro Cold Brew coffee this year - if you haven't tried it, you're in for a treat.
